The Rev. Vernon Lee Buntin

The Rev. Buntin, 56, of Eatontown, died June 29, 2009, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He was a mental health nurse and director of mental health nursing at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. He was also a cardiac intensive care nurse at Jersey Shore and Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He received his ordination credentials from the United Holy Church of America. He was predeceased by his parents, Gladys and George Buntin. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sharon; a son, Anthony V. Buntin and daughter, Saviora N.T. Buntin, both of Eatontown; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dr. Rev. Charles M. and Nanette Buntin of Bowie, Md., and George N. and Gail Buntin Jr. of Baltimore; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lillian Amani- Dove and Samuel of Columbia, Md., and Francis and Oliver Henderson of Columbia, Md.; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held at Abundant Life Church of God, Freehold. Interment followed at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. Memorial donations may be made to the Vernon L.
