Locals graduate Mon. County Police Academy

The Monmouth County Police Academy, Freehold, graduated 37 special police officers at its 34th Basic Course for Class II Special Police Officers in late May.

Local graduates were: James S. Beirne Jr., Matthew L. Colonna, Christopher F. Fiore, Richard T. O'Brien and Jake B. Pascucci, all Long Branch; Ryan J. Brand and Michael J. Martone, both Eatontown; Kenneth D. Errickson and Travis M. Morgan, both Sea Bright; Peter S. Giblin, Little Silver; and Joseph W. Glynn Jr., Rumson. Additionally Richard O'Brien received the Marksmanship Award, and James S. Beirne Jr. the Merit Award.

The class trained for 32 weeks in order to complete the class.
