The Seashore Day Camp and School in Long Branch is scheduled to put on a full scale production of "The Wizard of Oz," complete with live orchestra, award winning set designer, 100 costumes and 20 scores and performances on Aug. 15, 16 and 17. Market in the Middle, 516 Asbury Ave., Asbury Park, along with the Monmouth County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Eatontown, and Asbury Rockin' Cats will present a Paws for Life fundraiser and gallery opening Aug. 16. The fundraiser will begin at 4 p.m. with a doggy fashion show at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park. Festivities then move to Market in the Middle for the opening of Joyce Stolaroff 's Paws for Life art exhibit. Wine, cheese and tapas will be served. The Italian American Memorial Association (IAMA), West End Avenue, Long Branch, will begin a new bingo agenda Aug. 15, with all games valued at $200. All proceeds will benefit the youth of Long Branch. For more information, call the IAMA at 732-222-9750.

The Historical Society of Ocean Grove will hold its 19th annual Summer Postcards, Antiques, Collectibles and Jersey Shore Memorabilia Show 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 23. The free show will feature items from more than 50 dealers and will be held on the grounds opposite the Ocean Grove Great Auditorium.

The Historical Society's 11th annual auction of antiques and collectibles will be held Aug. 29, with the preview at 3 p.m. and auction at 5 p.m., at Ocean Grove Youth Temple, facing Auditorium Square Park. The 300 lots include items such as Steiff bears, jewelry, quilts, Roseville, furniture, children's items and vintage clothing. Absentee bids are accepted.
