Annual McDonald House golf event July 14

The 15th annual Ronald McDonald House golf tournament fundraiser will be held July 14 at Jumping Brook Country Club, Neptune. Shotgun start is 1 p.m.

A buffet awards dinner and silent auction will follow. There will be several holein one contests with prizes such as $10,000 or a new vehicle. Entry fee is $325 per person, and the event is limited to 120 golfers. Ronald McDonald House of Long Branch provides a "home away from home" for families of children who are ill and undergoing medical treatment. Its sister house in New Brunswick was opened in 2005.
