MMC to offer Internet health, stop-smoking programs Frederic Pachman, director of the Altschul Medical Library at Monmouth Medical Center (MMC), Long Branch, will present "Health Information on the Internet: The Good, The Bad and The 'Don't Go There,'" 1-3 p.m. July 9 at SCAN Learning Center, Monmouth Mall, Eatontown. The program is free, and attendees may bring favorite health Web sites for discussion. Preregistration is required and may be done by calling 732-542-1326. A diabetes self-management series will be offered 2-4 p.m. July 9, 16, 23 and 30; 9- 11 a.m. July 11, 18 and 25, andAug. 1; and 6-8 p.m. July 14, 21 and 28, and Aug. 4 at the medical center at 300 Second Ave., Long Branch.
