'Preventing Osteoporosis' talk at SCAN May 28

Monmouth Medical Center, will present "Preventing Osteoporosis," May 28 from 1-3 p.m. at SCAN Learning Center, Monmouth Mall, Eatontown.

Presenters will be Mutahir Abidi, M.D., medical director of the Center for Arthritis and Rheumatological Disorders at Monmouth, and Nanette Deleon, registered dietician at Monmouth. The free program will focus on what women can do to prevent osteoporosis, slow its progression and protect from fractures.
