Training class for park system volunteers May 17

TheMonmouth County Park System is seeking volunteers for its trail maintenance corps to help preserve the 100-plus miles of trails within the system.

Afree training session will be heldMay 17 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Manasquan Reservoir Environmental Center, Georgia Tavern Road, Howell. New volunteers must attend a training session prior to participating in trail workdays, including National Trails Day, June 7.
