Mon. U. to offer new scholarships for students Monmouth University announced that the Scholarship Ball Committee is creating new scholarships to help support deserving students. An individual can sponsor a oneyear scholarship for the 2008-2009 academic year in his or her own name, or in the name of designated person for $1,000. The goal is to have 75 new scholarships to celebrate the Monmouth University's 75th anniversary. Scholarship donors will be invited to the annual Scholarship Reception, where donors have the opportunity to meet their scholarship recipient. In addition, donors will becomemembers of the President's Society. Members of the President's Society contribute $1,000 or more during each calendar year.
