'Revolution' film series at MU begins March 20

Monmouth University (MU), West Long Branch, will hold its spring film series, "Staging a Revolution," beginning with "Reds" starring Warren Beatty and Diane Keaton March 20 from 6-10 p.m. at Pollak Theatre.

A panel discussion led by provost Thomas Pearson and Dr. Stanley Blair will follow. "Two Women," about architectural students and the Iranian Revolution's effects on the students, will be April 9 from 4:30-7:15 p.m. at Wilson Auditorium. A panel discussion led by Dr. Saliba Sarsar and Dr. Katherine Parkin will follow.

"Strike," a film about a worker in a Polish shipyard and how her efforts helped found the Solidarity movement, will be April 21 from 2:30-4:15 p.m. atWilsonAuditorium. A panel discussion led by provost Thomas Pearson and Dr. Brian Greenberg will follow.
