| The Monmouth Beach PTA, in coordination with the Jersey Shore Running Club, is hosting its 14th annual three-mile run onMay 10 at 9 a.m. The run is inmemory ShanaWasserman, who died in December 2006 at the age of 19 of bacterial meningitis.
Registration forms for the race can be picked up at Monmouth Beach Borough Hall or online at mbschool.org. The cost to register is $15 for the run and $10 for kids' races before April 28 and $20 for the race and $15 for kids' races the day of the event. "A Beautiful Spring Day," a fundraiser forManna House, Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge, will be held April 6 from noon to 4 p.m. at Branches, 123 Monmouth Road, Long Branch. The event will include lunch, a fashion show with clothing by Coldwater Creek, a Chinese auction, raffles, and table and door prizes.
Tickets are $40 each, with all proceeds benefiting Manna House, a transitional home for women with children that are homeless. For more information, call (732) 233-9096.

There will also be an indoor egg hunt for children age 8 and younger beginning at 10 a.m., and children should bring their own baskets. The third annual "Great Easter Egg Hunt!" will take placeMarch 22 beginning at noon at Pier Village, Ocean Boulevard and Laird Street, Long Branch. Festivities include a hunt for more than 3,000 prizefilled Easter eggs, music beginning at 11 a.m. and the Easter bunny.
