In the Service United States Marine Corps Pvt. Dino K. Houlis, recently completed 12 weeks of basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. He is the son of Joann Mendez of Long Branch. Army Pvt. Jose A. Medina has graduated from Basic Combat training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He is a 1998 graduate of Long Branch High School.
