Police charge 14 with underage drinking

OCEAN TOWNSHIP - Township police are charging 14 partygoers with underage drinking after receiving a report of a loud party at a Springhouse Road residence.

At approximately 1:16 a.m. on March 9, police received complaints of loud noise coming from a party at a home in a residential neighborhood, according to police reports.

Police arrived at the scene and found 14 people under age to be consuming alcoholic beverages at the home, according to reports.

Artem Grishin, 20, the resident of the home was charged with providing alcoholic beverages to underage persons, consuming alcoholic beverages while under the legal age on private property, and a township noise complaint violation, according to reports.

Another 13 partygoers were charged with consuming alcoholic beverages on private property while under the legal age, according to reports.
