Host families needed for Fresh Air Fund program

The Fresh Air Fund is seeking volunteer host families for its Friendly Town program next summer. Approximately 5,000 New York City children visit volunteer host families for two weeks each summer through the program in communities from Virginia to Maine and into Canada.

Since 1877, New York City children growing up in low-income neighborhoods have been able to experience simple summer pleasures in rural and suburban communities. Host families give Fresh Air children a break from the sometimes dangerous, hot and crowded city streets.

For more information on hosting a Fresh Air child, call Corinne at (732) 513-3643 or The Fresh Air Fund at (800) 367-0003 or visit www.freshair.org.
