Monmouth County Arts High School students display work

MONMOUTH BEACH - Paintings and drawings created by Monmouth County Arts High School students will be on display at the Monmouth Beach Public Library on Willow Avenue during the month of March.

The exhibit features work completed by 14 of the students who participate in the Monmouth County Arts High School program, which is now in its fifth year. The program offers advanced arts classes in creative writing, dance, instrumental music, vocal music and acting and visual arts to public and private school student sin Monmouth County.

Students are admitted to the program through audition and they are released from their high schools one afternoon a week to participate in the various courses that are taught by professional artists.

The program is made possible in part by a grant from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.

For more information on the exhibit or the Monmouth County Arts High School program, contact the Arts & Education Center at (732) 566-2787 or e-mail at info@artsandedcenter.org.
