Rose Rossi Linfante

Mrs. Linfante, 96, of the Oakhurst section of Ocean Township, died Dec. 30, 2007, at Imperial Health Care Center, Neptune. Born in Newark, she lived in Long Branch prior to relocating to Oakhurst. She was a retired seamstress. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; and a son, Joseph Linfante Jr. She is survived by a daughter, Dolores Nardone of California; a son and two daughters-in-law, Carl and Elizabeth Linfante of Oakhurst, and Nancy Linfante of Whiting; a sister, Fannie Rossi of Easton, Pa.; a brother, Lawrence Forlenza of Allentown, Pa.; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-greatgrandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Jerome's Roman Catholic Church, West Long Branch. Interment was at Mount Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch. Arrangements were by Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch.
