Jacob Rand Mr. Rand, 86, ofMonroe, and formerly of the Elberon section of Long Branch, died Feb. 29, 2008. He had a private law practice in Long Branch until his retirement. He also served as assistant city attorney for the City of Long Branch and as magistrate judge from 1970 to 1982. Mr. Rand is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lillian Isaacs Riemer Rand; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Stephen and Laurie Riemer of North Miami Beach, Fla., Keith Riemer Rand of West Hollywood, Calif., and Michael and Alison Rand of Atlanta; a sister, Hannah Teitelbaum of the West End section of Long Branch; and four grandchildren. Arrangements were by Bloomfield-Cooper Memorial Chapels, Ocean Township.
