4-H Teen Council to hold spring seedling sale

The Monmouth County 4-H Teen Council has announced its annual spring seedling sale with deadline for ordering April 4. Seedlings may be purchased in advance only, and pickup date is April 20.

All seedlings are one to three years old and are approximately six to 24 inches tall. Evergreen seedlings in bundles of 25 of one variety are $15 per bundle. Colorado blue spruce, Norway spruce, Douglas fir, and white pines are also available. Deciduous seedlings in bundles of 10 are $10 per bundle. Available are kousa dogwood (tree), silky dogwood (shrub), and common lilac.

Seedlings may be purchased at the rear of theAgricultural Building, 4000 Kozloski Road, Freehold. Doors will be open from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. For order forms or more information, call Rita at the 4-H at (732) 431-7263.
