The Monmouth Beach Cultural Center on OceanAvenue will be featuring an art exhibit titled "Beauty…people, places, things" fromFeb. 20 throughMarch 8. The exhibit is a collection of watercolor and pastel paintings by Denise Weiner.

Dr.Michael Zimmerman, volunteer curator at Battleship New JerseyMuseum, Camden, will present "The Battleship New Jersey and Museum: Past, Present and Future," Feb. 27 at 8 p.m. at Monmouth Beach Cultural Center, Ocean Avenue. He will discuss the career of the battleship as a warship and museum ship. Launched Dec. 7, 1942, one year after the Pearl Harbor attack, the ship is supported by a full-time staff, industrial sponsors, and volunteers. A DVD will also be shown.
