Arts H.S. students display work in Long Branch

LONG BRANCH - The paintings and drawings created by Monmouth CountyArtsHigh School students will be on display at the Long Branch Public Library on Broadway throughout February.

The exhibit features work completed by the students who participated in the Monmouth CountyArtsHigh School program. The program, which is now in its fifth year, offers advanced arts classes in creative writing, dance, instrumental music, vocalmusic, acting and visual arts to public and private students in Monmouth County.

The students,who are admitted to the program through audition, are released from their high schools one afternoon a week to participate in the various courses taught by professional artists.

Work from14Monmouth County students was selected for the exhibit this year. The students include the following; Angela Anzano, Keyport High School; Chloe Cryan,Wall High School; Brianna Deane, Ocean Township High School; Deanna Filipkowski, Middletown High School South; Angelica Giebler, Wall High School;Margaret Gibbon,Middletown High School South; Elizabeth Horton, Ocean Township High School; Rhyann Koehler, Henry Hudson Regional High School; Tara Linzalone, Middletown High School South; Tyler Rogers, Wall High School; Rebecca Sauickie, Monmouth Regional High School; Elizabeth Stallmayer, Middletown High School South; Samantha Stevens, Henry Hudson Regional High School and JulianneWaxman, Holmdel High School.
