Four arrested after police search home

OCEAN TOWNSHIP- Two township residents are facing charges after police uncovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia in their Oakhurst Road home.

Police executed a search warrant at the township home of Ryan Smith, 22, and Brian Keehn, 19, on Jan. 31, according to police reports.

During the search, police uncovered marijuana, hydrocodone pills, oxycodone pills, a scale, other drug-related paraphernalia and $500 cash within the residence, according to police reports.

Police arrested and charged Smith and Keehn with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and maintaining a nuisance by allowing persons to gather for unlawful conduct, according to reports.

Smith was additionally charged with possession of hydrocodone and oxycodone, according to police reports.

Bail was set at $30,000 for Smith and $10,000 for Keehn, according to reports.

Also arrested are Michelle Tufaro-Rodriquez, 18, of Farmingdale and Lindsey Carmichael, 20, of Manalapan. Both women are being charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possessing drug paraphernalia, according to police reports.

Tufaro-Rodriquez and Carmichael were both released on criminal summonses, according to reports.

The search warrant was the result of a Jan. 9 incident, when police responded to the Oakhurst Road home after receiving complaints of a loud party at the home, according to reports.

After breaking-up the party, police uncovered a scale, small plastic baggies and marijuana in the kitchen, according to reports, which state that guests at the party said the marijuana was to be used as an ingredient in a brownie mix.
