Charles E. Suydam

Mr. Suydam, 76, of Marlboro, died Jan. 19, 2008, at home. Born in Old Bridge, he was a lifelong resident of Marlboro. Mr. Suydam was a carpenter with Carpenters Local No. 1006, Milltown, for 57 years. He was predeceased by a daughter, Kelly Suydam, and a brother, Marvin Suydam. Surviving are his wife, Jean Conover Suydam; six daughters and five sonsin law, Gail and Dennis Finnerty of Pine Bush, N.Y., Patti and Robert Pluhowski of Old Bridge, Carol and George Koch of Manalapan, Sandy and Craig Carlsen of Monroe, Kathi and Doug Nilsen of Millstone Township, and Lori Suydam of Eatontown; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Robertsville Bible Church, Morganville section of Marlboro, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
