Salvatore Chiriano

Mr. Chiriano, 65, died Jan. 2, 2008, at his home in Girifalco, Calabria, Italy. He immigrated to the United States in 1965 and resided in Long Branch for 11 years prior to relocating to his hometown of Girifalco. Mr. Chiriano is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rosa Stranieri of Girifalco; his three children, Rocco, Giuseppe and Daniela, all of Italy; three brothers Rocco, Francesco and Joseph, all of Italy; a granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. AMass of Christian Burial and memorial service were held in Girifalco.
