William "Bill" Edwin Lane

Mr. Lane, 58, of West Long Branch, died Jan. 2, 2008, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was employed in the information technology department at Jersey ShoreMedical Center, Neptune, retiring after 35 years. He was a communicant of St. Dorothea's Roman Catholic Church, Eatontown.Mr. Lane was predeceased by his father, Dr. Edwin C. Lane. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Christie; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Edwin and Dana of Hamilton, and Jason W. of West Long Branch; a daughter and son-in-law, Verna and Matthew Pazaras of Hoboken; his mother, Shirley Lane of Fort Pierce, Fla.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dr. John G. and Carol Lane of Fishkill, N.Y., and Thomas and Laura Lane ofMaryland; a sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Torrey Harmon of San Diego, Calif.; and a grandson. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Dorothea's Church. Interment was at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River. Arrangements were by ThompsonMemorial Home, Red Bank.
