Joseph P. Addonizio Mr. Addonizio, 58, of Ocean Township, died Jan. 1, 2008, at home. Born in Newark, he resided in Ocean Township for 20 years. Before his retirement, Mr. Addonizio was a toll collector for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and a union representative for the Garden State Parkway Authority. He was a communicant of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, West End section of Long Branch. He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas C. Addonizio. Surviving are his former wife, Colleen McCabe of Tinton Falls; a stepdaughter, Courtney Phillips of Tinton Falls; two brothers and one sister-inlaw, James J. and CherylAddonizio of Holmdel, and Frank H. Addonizio of Washington, D.C.; a sister-in-law, Rachel Addonizio of Florham Park; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Jeffrey Schwartz, and Lois and Daniel Tafro, all of Ocean; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Michael's Church, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Arrangements were by Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch.
