Venese "KiKi" E. Septen

Miss Septen, 93, of Keyport, died Jan. 28, 2008, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Before her retirement, she was an executive secretary at Ganshire Manufacturing, Keyport, and a teacher at Drake Business College, Perth Amboy. She served as a parachute specialist with the Women's Army Air Corps in Wyoming during World War II. Miss Septen was predeceased by two brothers, Samuel and John Septen; and a sister, Rose Levine. She is survived by six nieces, Doris A. Septen of Middletown, Mary Mosca of Eatontown, Barbara Gabriel of Florida, Kathy Septen of California, Nancy Maxfield of Arizona, and Emma Fialla of California. Visitation will be held Jan. 31 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Day Funeral Home, Keyport. A funeral service will be held Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:45 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Keyport.
