Thanks extended to donors of Rwanda Project
On behalf of Brookdale faculty member Professor Terry Konn and the Brookdale Community College International Education Center, I would like to thank all those that made donations to the Rwanda Project campaign and to the Kigali Health Institute. Forty-two boxes of essential items are being shipped and are sure to bring smiles to the faces of hundreds of Rwandan kids in need.

Professor Konn will be working at the Kigali Health Institute and the Children's House in Kigali, Rwanda, for six months, from January to June. The international education center here at Brookdale Community College has arranged a 16-day short-term program to coincide with her time in Rwanda. The program is also open to the community as well as student participants. It is sure to be a life-changing experience for all those involved. Participants will be based at the Kigali Institute or the Children's House in Kigali, and excursions will include trips to the Akagero Safari Park, genocide memorials, Lake Kivu, and other local villages and sites.

For those donors or others who might be interested, the trip cost also includes three college credits earned for special project. Details including cost and itinerary details are available at http://international.brookdalecc. edu, the international education center at (732) 224-2577, or email international@brookdalecc. edu. We will be happy to tell you more about this exciting opportunity to view Dr. Konn's efforts and your donations in action.

Additionally, Rwanda program information sessions are scheduled for Feb. 7 from noon to 1 p.m., and Feb. 14 from noon to 1 p.m. in the MAN building of the Brookdale Lincroft campus, room 106. We look forward to welcoming you, and again, thank you for your generosity.
