James W. Mancuso Sr.

Mr. Mancuso, 95, of Long Branch, died Dec. 29, 2007, at St. BarnabasHospice and Palliative Care Center, Long Branch. Born in Cicala, Italy, he was a lifelong resident of Long Branch. He was the proprietor of JamesW.Mancuso Architect, Long Branch, and the designer of several local buildings. Mr. Mancuso was a member of the American Institute of Architects. He was predeceased by his three wives, Elizabeth in 1952, Eleanore in 1982, and Della B. in 2007. He is survived by a son, James W. Mancuso Jr. of Chicago; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Interment was at Mount Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch. Arrangements were by Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch. Memorial donations may be made to St Barnabas Hospice at Monmouth Medical Center, 95 Old Short Hills Road,West Orange, NJ 07052.
