High school now offers laptop program
School district to provide laptop computers to grades 5-12
      LONG BRANCH - The city's public school systemhas stepped up its game in the technology department and is nowoffering a new service for high school students. Located in the library at the new high school on Indiana Avenue are 24 new Dell Latitude laptop computers.

Board of Education names new president

      EATONTOWN - The Eatontown Board of Education named Mark Van Wagner as the board president at its monthly meeting last week. Van Wagner was appointed by the nine-member board on Jan. 14 to serve the remaining term of former board President John Schiels, which will end in April.

      Over the last few years the Long Branch School district has been building new schools for the students. The construction of the new buildings has inspired a group of future architects at the Morris Avenue School, according to a press release from the district.
