Charles T. Hupfer

Mr. Hupfer, 80, of Freehold Township, died Dec. 23, 2007, at TheManor Care Center, Freehold Township. He was born in New York City and had resided in Dallas and in Ridgefield Park before moving to Freehold Township 28 years ago. Prior to retiring in 1990, Mr. Hupfer was a branch manager for Bristol-Myers Squibb, Edison. He was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church, Freehold Township. Mr. Hupfer was predeceased by a grandson, William. Surviving are his wife, Doris Devlin Hupfer; three sons, Charles W. Hupfer of Bound Brook, Gary Hupfer of Eatontown and Glenn Hupfer of Highland Village, Texas; a daughter, Jeanne Nauerz of Freehold Township; and six grandchildren. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine Church. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
