Anna "Nina" Simonelli

Mrs. Simonelli, 88, of Eatontown, died Dec. 13, 2007, at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she had resided in Long Branch and California before relocating to Eatontown six years ago. She was the owner of Travel Unlimited, Long Branch, for 27 years, retiring in 1990. She was also the office manager for Congressman Frank Pallone for 10 years.Mrs. Simonelli was a communicant of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. She was a member of the Long Branch Housing Authority, and the Professional Business Women's Organization. She was predeceased by her husband, William Simonelli in 1989. Surviving are a son and daughter in-law, James and Rosanna Simonelli of Eatontown; a daughter and son-in-law, Delfina and Donald Kappen of Fresno, Calif.; a brother and sister-in-law, Vincent and Rosemarie Mazza of Naples, Fla.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two nephews; and a niece. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Holy Trinity Church. Arrangements were by Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch.
