Blood drive at Monmouth Medical Center Jan. 7 Monmouth Medical Center on Second Avenue in Long Branch is hosting a blood drive, sponsored by the Central Jersey Blood Center, on Jan. 7 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Community Meeting Room at the hospital. All donors will receive free lunch and a chance to win a pair of tickets to the NJ Nets vs. 76ers game on April 1 at the Izod Center in the Meadowlands in East Rutherford. Blood donated to Central Jersey Blood Center helps to treat premature babies, burn and trauma victims, cardiac disease, patients suffering from leukemia and other cancers.
