Area resident winner in UPTCo competition

The Unlimited Potential Theater Company (UPTCo) of VSA arts of New Jersey, New Brunswick, has announced the winners of its 14th annual "Joyce Indik New Jersey Wordsmith Competition," and second annual "Work in Process Forum." Both were open to New Jersey residents age 18 and older.

The wordsmith competition accepted entries of poems, essays, short stories and plays; and the work in process-accepted submission of plays. Robert Duffy, Eatontown, was a winner in the Indik competition for "Home Again."

Winning works were read at Work in Process Forums in South Brunswick, and forum participants attended a performance of the 2006 work in process winning entry, "Between First and Third" by Mary Casella.
