Y's 'Adopt-a-Family' program under way The Community YMCA, Red Bank, in conjunction with Starbucks and Synergy Bank is hosting its annual "Adopt-a- Family" program to provide holiday gifts for families in need through Dec. 14. Starbucks has been matched with local YMCA families, and residents may drop off new and unwrapped gifts at Starbucks Coffee at The Grove, 551 Route 35, Shrewsbury, and 215 Route 35, Sea Girt. A drive is also being held at the Y's Family Health and Fitness Center, 166 Maple Ave., Red Bank, and new and unwrapped gifts can be provided by "adopting" a family at the facility. Synergy Bank, Matawan, is collecting socks, mittens, gloves and scarves for area families.
