Police to host open house Nov. 24 LONG BRANCH - The police department will host an open house for individuals interested in working in law enforcement, Nov. 24 at 10 a.m. at the city municipal building on Broadway. The department is actively recruiting people who want to become police officers, Class II special police officers, Class I special police officers, and police dispatchers. Interested parties should bring a current résumé, writing utensils and paper to take notes.
