L.B. councilman launches Web site LONG BRANCH - Councilman Brian Unger announced this week that his City Council Web site is up and running at www.councilmanbrianunger.com. The new site includes a television interview with Mayor Adam Schneider that aired last winter, a new online newsletter called "The Unger Update" and video of Unger surfing off the Long Branch coast. "The Unger Update" highlights Unger's work on a proposed historic preservation ordinance for Long Branch, better beach access for senior citizens and teens, and his input on the design of the new hotel campus project along the oceanfront. The newsletter also offers his support for a speedier disclosure of the Open Public Records Act practices at city hall and for public viewing of council meetings on the Web and local cable television, according to the release.
