His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of all Armenians, visited Monmouth University in West Long Branch Oct. 29. A dinner was held in his honor with parishioners of the St. Stepanos Armenian Church in the Elberon section of Long Branch.

The St. Stepanos Church is celebrating its 20th anniversary and Long Branch Mayor Adam Schneider, Red Bank Mayor Pasqual Menna and state Sen. Joe Kyrillos were in attendance and presented resolutions to Karekin and the Very Rev. Mamigon Kiledjian.
