MU to air first radio show in Spanish Nov. 13

WEST LONG BRANCH - Monmouth University's student run radio station 88.9 FM will air its first weekly show in Spanish Nov. 13.

The premier show will have a special airtime from 8:30-10 a.m. and the program will feature music, news and cultural information, as well as interviews with prominent members of the Hispanic community.

Monmouth University President Paul Gaffney II, dean of School of Humanities and Social Sciences Stan Green and Chairman of the Department of Communication Don Swanson will be guests on the inaugural show, which will broadcast in Spanish and English.

The weekly show is named "Latinos aca," which means Latinos are here. The show will air Tuesdays 9-10 a.m. For more information, call Dr. Priscilla Gac-Artigas at (732) 571-3406.
