Ocean Twp. library hosts October programs

OCEAN TOWNSHIP - The Ocean Township Branch of the Monmouth County Library, 701 Deal Road, is presenting several adult programs during October.

The final installment in the ongoing series, "Your Heart's Desire: Sex and Love in Jewish Literature," will be a discussion of the fifth and final book, "The Mind-Body Problem" by Rebecca Goldstein, Monday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m.

Copies of the book may be borrowed from the library. Registration is required; to register or for more information, call (732) 531-5092.

"Our Town," by Thornton Wilder, will be discussed by the Adult Book Club of the Ocean Township Branch Monday, Oct, 22, at 7 p.m. Copies of the book may be borrowed from the library.

"The Reluctant Reader: Squashing the Resistance" will be presented at the Ocean Township Library Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. by Lisa Mullarkey, who will use her experiences as a parent, classroom teacher and librarian/ media specialist to present information on the challenges involving children and literacy today and help parents discover ways to become part of the solution. There is no charge.
