Bayshore Little League will be hosting a clinic for all players Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Scholer Park Fields. They will also be taking registration for the spring 2008 season. Save $10 per family by signing up early. Bayshore Little League is for all players from Union Beach, Keyport, Hazlet (from Bay to Route 35), and Keansburg. Please bring a photocopy of the player's birth certificate. Registration fees are as follows: T-ball through majors (ages 5-12) one player $80 plus $25 fundraiser (raffle); two players $105 (per family) plus $25 fundraiser; three or more players (per family) $140 plus $25 fundraiser. There is a $100 work bond per family at the minor and major levels ($50 at the T-ball level). Senior league (ages 13-18) is $125 per player, plus $25 fundraiser and $75 work bond.

Due to the growth of the league, umpires are needed for the Alumni Softball League's fall and spring 2008 seasons. Umpires will be trained by the league.
