Ebony Fashion Fair is coming to Long Branch. "Glam Odyssey: A Fashion Journey Into Bliss & Beyond!" will be presented Saturday, Sept. 22, beginning at 8 p.m., at the Long Branch Middle School auditorium, 350 Indiana Ave.

Sponsored by The Ocean Chapter of Drifters, the event will benefit The United Negro College Fund and local scholarships.

This highly anticipated 50th anniversary show features the latest fashion designs and according to promoters, ticket holders will witness glamour redefined while taking a journey through five decades of fashion.

Characterized by glamour, elegance and flare, the Ebony Fashion Fair features music - from R&B to hip-hop - lights, and action from beginning to end.

Glam Odyssey is presented on runways in more than 180 cities in the U.S., Canada, Bermuda and Jamaica with 13 models in a variety of shades and shapes showing the latest styles by world-famous designers.

Each ticket includes a choice of a one-year subscription to EBONY magazine or a sixmonth subscription to JET magazine; and a chance to win fabulous door prizes including air fare to a destination of choice and a 2008 Ford Edge vehicle, and cosmetics.
