On Tuesday, Aug. 28, TOGS, Township of Ocean Growing Strong will host a pool party to kick off the 2007-2008 school year for the TOGS and iTOGS programs. The event will be held at the Ocean Township Community Pool, located on West Park Avenue in Oakhurst. This year, all fifth-, sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students are invited to attend accompanied by a parent of guardian. The party will start at 4 p.m. and end at 7 p.m. The rain date Aug. 29. There will be fun-filled activities for both students and parents. The TOGS youth group program was started two years ago to promote healthy youth in a healthy community.
