Nancy Di Lauro, family and consumer sciences teacher at Ocean Township High School, Oakhurst, was recognized as an adviser mentor at the 2007 National Leadership Meeting Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) held last month in Anaheim, Calif. The program recognizes teachers who help orient and train new FCCLA advisers. This is Di Lauro's sixth year as an adviser for FCCLA, a national student organization that helps teens become leaders and address important personal, family, work and societal issues.
