Register by July 27 for 'Woods Hollow Classic' The Monmouth County Park System will host the annual "Woods Hollow Classic" mountain bike race Aug. 4 at Tatum Park, Holland Road, Middletown. The classic consists of a 7.5-mile beginner race for the first-time or occasional racers which begins at 8 a.m. or the sport race of 11.25 miles for intermediate and advanced racers which begins at 9:30 a.m. Beginners are encouraged to ride the course ahead of time. Cost is $20 on race day or $16 before July 27. Registration will be accepted on race day from 6:45-7:45 a.m. for beginners, and 8:15-9:15 a.m. for the sport race. Awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers for both races, and in a number of age categories.
