Photos accepted for Soil Con. District contest The Freehold Soil Conservation District is now accepting entries for its photo contest to promote the beauty and uniqueness of the natural environments found in Middlesex and Monmouth counties. Submission deadline is Sept. 17. Photos should be size eight by 10-inch or 12-inch (color or black and white), and must be taken in Middlesex or Monmouth County. There is one entry per person, age 18 and older. Subjects should depict the natural beauty, natural environment, agriculture, wildlife, landscapes or waterscapes unique to the area. The photo location, landmark, town or address should be included with entry. Prizes are $200 first place, $100 second place, and $75 third place.
