Belmar to host seafood festival June 9, 10

Belmar Tourism Commission will present the 21st annual New Jersey seafood festival June 9 and 10 from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. at Silver Lake Park, Belmar (rain or shine).

The free event will feature seafood items from local restaurants, a chef's demonstration tent, an international wine tent, crafters and vendors. Restaurants include Jake's Cakes by Brandl, Klein's Fish Market & Waterside Café, Matisse, and Connolly Station, all Belmar; Danny's Steakhouse & Seafood Grill, Red Bank; and Jack Baker's Lobster Shanty, and Surf Taco, both with several shore locations.

Entertainment includes Brian Kirk & the Jirks, Chuck Lambert Band, The Jazz Lobsters, RB Express and Willie Lynch Band.

Trolleys will provide free transportation between the Belmar Marina, the Belmar NJ Transit train station, the beach and festival grounds. No pets are allowed at the festival.
