Eden Woolley House Inc. is a new nonprofit that has been organized to raise funds for the repair, renovation and restoration of the Eden Woolley House in Ocean Township. When work has been completed, the 250-year-old house will become the new home of the Ocean Township Historical Museum.
The organization will host a benefit fundraiser for the repair and renovation of the Eden Woolley House, a pictorial look into the future of this historic structure, with a wine and cheese tasting. Friday, May 18, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Ocean Township Library, 701 Deal Road. The requested donation is $35. Tickets may be obtained from any of the organization's trustees or by calling (732) 531-4295.

The Greater Ocean Township Chamber of Commerce will host its 19th annual Business & Retail EXPO on Wednesday evening, May 23, 5-8 p.m., at the Sheraton Eatontown. There will be door prizes, food and entertainment and about 60 exhibitors.

The Choraliers of Eatontown will present its annual spring show, "Broadway Dreamin," on Sunday, June 3, at 3 p.m. at the Woodmere School on Raleigh Court in Eatontown. The Paul Green School of Rock Music, for kids ages 7-17, presents "The Music of Led Zeppelin." Students will perform two killer sets of Led Zeppelin music during two all-ages shows at Asbury Lanes, 209 4th Ave., in Asbury Park, Friday, May 18, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, May 19, at 3 p.m. Come see what these amazing kids can do. The Ladies Auxiliary of Monmouth Beach (LAMB), will be having it's Annual Dinner and Gift Auction on Thursday, May 24, at the Channel Club, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. The cost is $30. The Monmouth Beach Beautification Committee has announced that its annual Monmouth Beach Town-Wide Yard Sale Weekend will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 19 and 20, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
More than 50 homes will be participating in the event, selling a myriad of items. A list and map of participating homes will be available in front of Monmouth Beach Borough Hall, 22 Beach Road, on Saturday, May 19. Shoppers can easily find participating homes since they will have yellow balloons out in their front yards. A bake sale will also be held on Saturday, outside borough hall. The Monmouth Beach Beautification Committee is sponsoring a Town-Wide Yard Sale Saturday and Sunday, May 19 and 20, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is a $10 fee to participate and the deadline to register is May 4. Girl Scout registration will be held Saturday, May 19, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the Eatontown Community Center, 68 Broad St. Eatontown schools will open late this fall due to construction, so we are holding our annual fall registration early. Interested girls from Eatontown/Fort Monmouth entering grades K-12 in September and their parents are welcome. Girls must be registered to participate in the Service Unit's Fall Encampment. The city of Long Branch is hosting its annual citywide yard sale this weekend. Among the households taking part in the event are 279 Long Branch Ave., 642 Campbell Ave. and 5 Howland Ave., which will be participating both days, and 58 South Bath Ave., which will be available on Saturday only from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Friends of the West Long Branch Public Library is offering the Helen R. Shultz Scholarship to encourage people to train for a career in the library profession. The $1,000 scholarship for the 2007-08 academic year is awarded to a student living in Monmouth County who has been accepted into a library science or paraprofessional library program.
