Vendors sought for USS Avenger fundraiser

The USS Avenger, Edison, is seeking vendors for a fundraiser to be held June 17 to benefit the Van Houten Foundation and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

The event, co-sponsored by the Van Houten Foundation Inc., will be held at the Victorian Manor Reception Hall, Edison. It will feature charity auctions of merchandise from sports personalities, television and film celebrities, games and activities, and catered food. Proceeds will be used to establish a shelter for women and children in Middlesex County, for two scholarships for students pursuing environmental studies, and for JDRF research.

Vendor tables are $35 per table by May 15, or $45 from May 15 to June 16. Tables are first come, first served. For more information, call Dr. Norman J. Van Houten at (732) 287-0010.
