Donate when you see the yellow vests

The Knights of Columbus of the state of New Jersey will be collecting statewide for people with developmental disabilities the weekend of April 26-29.

The first principle of the order is charity. Our goal is to raise $1 million for these organizations. All monies collected by the drive are given to those organizations; there are no monies kept by the Knights.

With less government funding it is important that we raise as much money as we can. The monies are an important source of revenue for organizations like The Arc of New Jersey, county Arcs, Special Olympics, Holy Innocents and other special-needs organizations.

So remember when you see the bright yellow vests this weekend, you will be helping our special citizens. We ask you to put a smile on the face of these deserving individuals by being as generous as you can to the Drive for People with Developmental Disabilities.

The Knights thank you for your contributions.
