Students wear hats for cancer

The student council at Pope John XXIII Regional School in Ocean Township sponsored Hat Day recently to raise money for the nonprofit group Foundation For Children With Cancer. The student council asked students and teachers to make a donation and wear hats in support of children who have cancer and often lose their hair due to chemotherapy.

The students raised $355.28, which they donated to the foundation..

It was a wonderful event that the entire school, faculty included, took part in.
