Iraq war not a result of Sept. 11, 2001 Every time I hear someone talk about 9/11 and Iraq in the same breath, I get sad. Sad because to me it says that the terrorists have accomplished their goal. They managed to frighten and traumatize these individuals so much that facts and reason cannot penetrate the fear. It took almost four years for the majority of voters to overcome that fear and see the war for what it really is. I sincerely hope that the rest of us are on the way to recovery as well.
